Supporting babies to toddlers
Sunshine Fruits Nursery accepts babies from 8 months old, and children between 8 months and 2 years start their journey in the Mini Mango room.
The Mini Mango room is bright, open and spacious with lots of natural light. It is designed to support children who are just starting to crawl and walk with plenty of uncluttered open space.

Physical Development
Young babies need lots of space, time and appropriate equipment to develop their range of physical skills. Our highly popular climbing frame offers plenty of practice for big movements such as climbing steps and crawling through or over different spaces.
Our open shelves offer a wide range of fine motor skill development such as sorting shapes, posting postcards, fitting puzzle pieces, building train tracks, and turning knobs and wheels.
Regular practice with carefully chosen activities builds your child's dexterity and accuracy in preparation for later activities such as pouring their drink or drawing with pencils.
Communication & Language
Language is developed in children through regular exposure to a wide range of vocabulary. Sunshine Fruits Nursery prepares monthly Topics which introduces new vocabulary and concepts to our youngest learners.
Children may be fishing for sea life one month and making Rangoli patterns for Diwali the next. Creative activities are planned by the team to help children learn the new words in context and have fun with different materials, ideas and objects.
Social and Emotional Development
As every parent knows, even very young babies have their own unique personality and nature. Some babies like lots of adult interact and others are happiest when playing with other children. Every child is assigned a Key Person who gets to know their Key Child. The Key Person will post a daily update in your child's profile on our app.
At this young age we encourage the children to build the social skills of sharing, turn taking and playing cooperatively alongside each other. They are encouraged to recognise emotions in others and it is a familiar and heart-warming scene to see a young toddler offer a toy or activity to their special friend.
